I have struggled on and off with my weight since about the 7th grade so finally finding a fat loss program that worked for me was like a miracle.

I decided to do my own fat loss program but I wasn’t that keen on joining a gym since I didn’t want to amble into a room full of fit people with tight bodies doing reps in front of mirrored walls. Heck, I didn’t even want to see myself in the bathroom mirror let alone see 7 or 8 reflections of myself in floor to ceiling mirrored walls reflecting all over a gym full of sculpted Adonises and Venuses.

I loved eating and to make matters worse I was a cheesy dough kind of eater—lots of starch and refined carbohydrates. Well meaning and not so well meaning individuals would tell me stupid things like, “eat less and move more.” Or else they would tell me to cut out almost every food I loved and start eating salads, sprouts and stuff that gives me the shudders.

Finally I came up with a fat loss plan. Instead of eating just a low calorie diet every day, like 1200 calories a day, I’d take it a week at a time. 1200 calories a day times 7 equals 8400.

Then I would eat only 500 to 800 calories on one day and then have 1600 to 1900 the next day which would include my cheesy dough stuff. This fat loss program worked.

To do this means you have to stick with your plan and keep your weekly calories in check or else it won’t work. But the fat loss plan has kept me fit and trim now years now and I can still have a Fuddrucker burger and onion rings.
